GASUKETTO!!!!!!!
Erm... I mean Gasket, from Transformers Drift!!!!!!
We all love him, don't we? Yes we do. Yyyyyyep, so THIS was the handsome Cybertronian that has been getting my "artistic attention" lately. ^^ This is my first piece of Transformers fan art! Gasket is not very well known , and because fan art of him is super-rare, I figured why not give him a try? He REEEEEALLY needs more art love!
If you don't already know, I'm such a
And then they become lovers an' shit. X3 ::coughcoughcoughRedcoughAxlcoughcoughfromMegaManX7coughcoughcoughcough::
Believe or not, the drawing for this was actually my 3rd attempt. (I always paint over my pencils, unless I think the pencils are good enough to be line art, in which case I just use the airbrush instead.) The first one I directly referenced from his first appearance in Transformers Drift, but I decided against coloring it or putting it up here. I guess it was more like good practice. And then I tried again, using a different angle, and he looks okay, but I gotta make it much neater later. Then the pencil for this 3rd one took the cake and I jumped into coloring it the minute I finished scanning it into my computer!
At one point I thought I was done, but...... O.O Alllllllllllmost forgot to put in those THINGS on his back! Would've hated to forget that altogether.
Yeeeahh, I pretty much became obsessed with painting this for the past 2 weeks and a half. I even held off on any music projects until I was done with it. I'm baffled... because I take WAY longer to finish painting my MMX art, sometimes months or nearly a year! Why why why???
I thought that maybe the first Transformer I would draw would've had to be either a portrait of Wheeljack from Transformers Prime, or at least a sketch of Deadlock from the TF Drift comics, MAYBE, but... I ended up wanting to draw Gasket first because, well... he looks like he could be a Reploid from MMX!
My first thought when I turned the page of the comic and first saw this Bot: "AAAAGHHHHHHH HE'S SO FUGGING CUTE!"
I want to try drawing him again, but from another angle. Damn his beauty. Damn it. Weh. I've heavily considered creating a Fan Club/Group for this character, but I'm not sure how popular he is. Weh again.
Maybe I'll at least make a stamp???
Nonetheless, hooray for everyBottie's favorite "annoyingly optimistic" Hobo-Bot! The thief of our hearts.

(Thinking about trying drawing portraits of Drift or Wing for my next TF art... or TFP Wheeljack???? :3 Who knows? ^w^)

Man, I'm sad that we didn't see much of him. He's so sweet.
