The Coolest, most Ultimate-est, Best-est and most Beautiful-est Mega Man that ever Mega Manned in all of Mega Manning!!!!!!!!!

So yeah, as today is the 20th Anniversary of Mega Man X, I FINALLY reveal another Full-Body art piece of X I've been meaning to finish FFOOORRRGHHH-EEEHHHVVERRRRR ago!!! Parts of the reason being that:

1. I couldn't decide whether or not to have his left hand in X-Buster Mode. In the end however, I gave him both hands, because I really like how his left hand turned out.

2. I kept changing his eyes. After four different eye changes, I decided to go with the sexy eyes.

3. Oh... and Transformers. XD Getting into a new fandom tends to take time away from other fandoms I likes.


But here it is now, and if I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, then it's about time it goes up. And what better day than today? Mega Man X being around for 20 years? That's pretty darn BIG!


I wanted to do something completely new for this day, but I got pulled into other directions... other "roads," if you will... and time was running out. PLUS... I needed to finally finish this one anyway. I did the finishing touches on it yesterday afternoon and last night, after watching one of my new favorite shows called "Almost Human" (wow, a non-anime/non-Transformers thing I actually like). It's about a human cop with a synthetic leg who is required to team up with a "synthetic human" cop who, get this... has the ability to feel! And poke fun at his human partner, hahaha! Dorian is so cool.... BUT I DIGRESS!!!!

Anyways, I referenced X's pose from this one frame I screen-capped from the intro movie in MMX3, where X lands almost like this, right after running out of a volcano filling with lava.

It was a very small reference, so looking at it on my iPod Nano sometimes killed my eyes a bit, but I was able to fill out certain things with the help of looking at some official art, once I got to coloring it.

I fucking started drawing this aaalllllll the way back in July 4th 2011. Then didn't get back to it until Sept 29 2012, fixing up the pencils, then scanned and started coloring it on ArtRage the next day. But I've spent months at a time away from it... I really could have finished it much sooner than this. I feel a little bad about that, but not too bad. I think I had art of Red and/or Axl that I wanted to complete at the time, among other things.

Mega Man X, with his ability to feel, cry, worry, and love, has been my musical inspiration since that fateful February of 2010 when I "discovered" Zero in a Nintendo Power magazine, and he also has been my artistic inspiration since October of the same year.

He is all about overcoming the toughest odds and discovering one's potential (as in HIS is LIMITLESS! XD ), and for that I am truly, truly proud and glad to be a fan of this blue robot from an amazing video game series. One would assume I don't like X as much as I do Zero, but honestly they are both really awesome characters that I just can't seem to love enough.

Oh, and Happy 26th Anniversary to Mega Man, the original Blue Bomber, too.
